Superior Races Update

I was fortunate enough to finish in 33 hours and 36 mnute

Chris Gardner from Duluth Won the 100 in just under 22 hours (smokin' fast)
Joe Zigenfuss came in second
Brent Bjerkness took 3rd.

Helen Lavin won the womens in around 26:50 (awesome job)
Susan Donelly took second.

My report will follow later. I am very happy, but it took A LOT out of me.

Congrats, I dropped early with back spasms that made it hard to walk. Had them at Beaver Bay and tired to go on, but by Silver Bay I was totally wiped. Can't wait for a report as this was a hard year for many. You worked hard and deserve this reward. Bask in the glory, you deserve it.

SHT packs a big punch. You kept punching back and finally finished her off...great work. What came out of that big egg when you popped it?

Congrats Matt! You suffered through some serious pain to cross that finish line in great style.

I guess you need to change your blog title now?!

I am so happy you finished and so happy that Lynn kept that shovel and kept on digging. It's amazing, just amazing what a person goes through during these things. You don't know how many people were so worried that you dropped. So many! We kept on being told Matt Patten had to drop but we didn't know why. I was SO excited to see you at the awards that I about ran over a person to get over to congratulate you. Congratulations!!
